Introspective Champagne? In love with itself? I can certainly agree with the fact that it is a self centered drink.
I don’t think I could claim that the wine “itself” is in love with “itself”. However the Region and Producers behind the the region of Champagne are certainly a little self important about their product. You can see it in the price vs. quality of the wines in the region.
This wine review was however was more about the astonishing balance of all the elements in the wine. What’s more balanced than a reflection.
pretty darn sexy too!

I am a newbie to this site, and I like the approach or portraying wines in a universal language. I am not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination and find it hard to decipher the meanings of a lot of the photographs. Perhaps a brief explanation of what qualities in the wine or the photo that made the person use that picture would be beneficial to get people on the right track.
Francesco,
I think the best thing about this style of wine review is that it allows you to interpret the images on your own, while the comments section allows for discussion about those interpretations.
Montesi,
I totally agree, this is the beauty of this type review. But when you said in your earlier comment,”This wine review was however was more about the astonishing balance of all the elements in the wine. What’s more balanced than a reflection,” this put the pieces together for me and made the photo have some relevance to wine.
